Digital Adelaide is an evolution of the successful Social Media Day conference that we held in previous years.

Social Media Day was launched by Mashable on 30 June 2010. It is a day where we “recognise and celebrate social media’s impact on global communication”.

In Adelaide, we’ve been celebrating Social Media Day since 2015 and over the years, the event has developed to a full day social media conference. We’ve taken the opportunity to share social media knowledge on this day, with the aim of making it accessible to everyone – no matter what stage of your career you’re at.

We’ve had requests over the years to include more digital marketing content and so DigitalADL was born, with the goal of upskilling marketing professionals across South Australia.

Specifically beneficial for those that are new to the community, Social Media Day and Digital Adelaide provide a chance to network with and learn from, established and successful members of the digital marketing community.

Recent events such as the Australian bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic have forced many businesses to completely restructure how they operate. Content strategies have been flipped, new platforms have been mastered overnight and communication tactics have been overhauled. 

In 2020, our presenters will take you through their journeys of navigating digital and social marketing in an unprecedented landscape.
